Damn, I'm teary eyed. Can’t believe Tabitha and Amira’s love for one another was just so pure it made me weepy. The fear that Amira feels for men, and the anxiety Tabitha has from her husband was so painful and raw to read, as they thought they either deserved or caused the abuse. The healing they got from one another, yet the awareness of life with both pain and joy was so good. Gorgeous writing and imagery overall.

So funny how every article is like … and they were besties! 🫶🏽

A lovely story. Emotional, impactful, thoughtful, and truly romantic.
