Recommended by a friend, I started this on a fourteen hour flight and was finished before we touched down. Set in 1912 Egypt but in an alternate reality where djinn live alongside us and the British didn't control the country, this book is engrossing. It's giving murder on the Nile but high fantasy with great character development and just aaaaah... It's very good. Have already given to three different friends.
