Little llama gets bored and frustrated during a shopping with with Mama. Full page acrylics are expressive and the sing-songy text moves right along.
Llama llama is quickly learning that he does not always get his way. Good thing mama llama knows how to put up with llama drama. A great lesson for any young child and Anna Dewdney does it in a fun way.

Llama Llama has to go shopping at the Shop-a-rama (think Walmart) on Saturday and he is not happy! After throwing a tantrum, Llama learns that mama doesn't like to shop either.

This is one of my favorite children's books. We have several of the Llama Llama collection, but this one is still my favorite. All of my kids have grown up on these, and will continue. I also love the series on Netflix, which my youngest watches regularly.
Love this book! Read it to my son, and he just adores it! He would have me read it over and over if he could. The ryhming makes the story flow easily, and the pictures depict the story well. All kids can relate to being dragged around running errands so mom can go shopping. A must read!
Cute rhyming story about a little one who has had enough of shopping with his mama.
I didn't like this one as much as the first book. I think these books are only endearing if they are relevant to your situation and thankfully my kids do not act out when we are shopping! Llama Llama Red Pajama was so important to us however, that we have a soft spot for these books and do read them all.
Llama Llama does not want to go grocery shopping with Mama. He has a tantrum, and Llama Mama has to get him to calm down. She says, "Please stop fussing, little llama. No more of this llama drama. I think shopping's boring, too--but at least I'm here with you." Super cute book that can help teach children what to do when they feel annoyed or upset.
