The kids loved it-ages 2 to 5

LOVE <3 Llamas in general. This book was very relatable of plenty of kids when they go shopping. I truly feel for the parents & wonder how they get anything done! Adorable illustrations and an important message.

The dangers of white parenting.

Very similar to the Llama Llama Red Pajama, keeping the humor and my child interested with the same less than ideal message.

This is one of her great ones. Llama llama has to go grocery shopping with Mama, but it's so boring! After he throws a tantrum, Mama explains that she doesn't like shopping either, and they decide to get it done together. So sweet and funny and relateable. Would work well for a storytime about shopping.

picking up a book that focuses on being mad at momma made me a little nervous- after all i didn't really want to teach my kid the concept of being mad at me when i don't think she quite gets that yet- but this book was 100% relatable. After all, I'm not too keen on shopping either, and if Costco was standing between me and an ice cream cone, there would be hell to pay ;)

Perfect Rhymes! Perfect Tale! Anna Dewdney cannot fail!

Another must own - This is a book I could read out loud many times in a row. What more could you want from a children's book?

So cute. Handles the subject how to act in public in a fun relatable way.

This is one of those picture books where the child doesn't solve the problem, which is that the child doesn't want to be out shopping with his mom. In the end, the mom solves the problem by nagging. Not a very empowering story for a kid, in my opinion.

The illustrations are cute, and the text isn't too long. But there are much better stories out there to spend your reading time on.
