A few moments reminded me of I Know What You Did Last Summer. Otherwise, pretty standard Fear Street.

I am torn! On the one hand, I enjoyed the spook factor of this one. On the other, why the *heck* does RL Stine have a teenage girl flirting with a stranger who is so clearly threatening her in the woods?? That whole interaction was weird as hell.

It's funny that after all the horrible things that happen on Fear Island, the dumb teenagers are worried their parents will find out that they went to the overnight UNCHAPERONED!

I made my Literacy students read this with me.
