One of Peter's favourite series. I haven't read Asterix before, but I decided to give this a go and see why it's so special to him.
It's silly- mostly slapstick comedy, though the Roman names do have bad puns- but it teaches kids history, geography and culture in a way they may not realise. I can't hate on that.

Okay this one was ACTUALLY funny and entertaining. Loved it and remember it vividly from when I "read" it in french. I also love how the dog is just subtly there the entire time without being mentoined.

J'adore ! Même si je n'ai pas encore lu toutes les BD, je peux déjà dire qu'il fait parti de mes préféré. Quelle aventure du Tour de Gaule... De l'humour et de la castagne : Vive Astérix et Obélix. Il semblerait que ce soit le premier tome où apparaît le petit Idéfix ce qui donne encore plus d'importance à cet épisode !

Hubo momentos bastante graciosos y la idea de dar la vuelta a la galia es buena. Simplemente el motivante de la apuesta me parece demasiado farfetched. También creo que lo habría disfrutado más si supiera los estereotipos de las regiones francesas.

Asterix & Obelix är en stor del av min barndom, så jag är inte det minsta objektiv i hur mycket jag gillar de här serierna nu - men, när är jag egentligen det? Hur som helst en rolig serie men som naturligtvis åldrats en del!
