If you are a fan of Harry and Meghan, you will love this book. There aren’t a lot of things we didn’t know in it, but it helps fill in the blanks from all the rumors.

Rating 4.5

I am not a royalist. I didn't really start learning about the modern royal families until the book Spare. I didn't really know Harry & Meghan's story.

This book is for those who are mostly neutral. You don't follow the British Press or any tabloids. I think this book was fair and balanced in the documentation of the timeline of this relationship and their split from the British Royal Family.

This book is not negative towards any particular person but does tend to sway towards the Sussex camp. If you have made up your mind to dislike The Sussexes than this book is not for you.

Finding Freedom is a biography of the relationship of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry and explains their decision to step back from royal life. I found this book to be very one sided. It was clearly done to put Meghan and Harry in a better light.

In order to do so, the author paints the couple as innocent victims who were taken advantage of by everyone--the royal family, the press, and even Meghan's father and siblings. The author continually describes a rich, handsome prince and his gorgeous wife as victims. That's a hard pill to swallow for people who don't live in palaces or have billionaire friends.

The book is so one-sided and unbalanced it is impossible to determine what really happened and what really caused the rift in the royal family.

Looking at how Harry and Meghan are so happy and relax now in California, I’m happy that they were able to step down as working royals. I believe that Meghan was a target of vicious attacks from the BRITISH TABLOIDS and that the Royal Family didn’t stay anything because of the Prince Andrew situation. If the media is talking about Meghan then their not talking about Prince Andrew and his Jeffrey Epstein problem and the accusation of him raping a minor. I highly recommend this book it’s a great read!!

I was uspet about [b:The Heir Affair|49246699|The Heir Affair (Royal We, #2)|Heather Cocks|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1571697145l/49246699._SX50_SY75_.jpg|68625302] earlier this year, and read this in the hopes of reassuring myself things weren't that bad for this couple. Unfortunately it turns out they're not great! But they genuinely like each other, and that means a lot. There was a lot of information that was new to me.

(Wow, people really hate this couple and this book, huh?)
