Synopsis: Claire is married to a successful politician but not is all as it seems. She meets eva at the airport who is also desperate to leave her life. They agree to switch flights but one flight crashes and the others life was full of secrets.
What I liked: this was such a great slow burn thriller. I really like how each women’s story was told and reveled keeping you engaged. It’s also a unique premise and the characters are so multifaceted.

Synopsis: a woman is murdered in a small town which brings a reporter who used to live there. Her ex husband is a detective and assigned to the case. The case heats up@and starts getting very close to home.
What I liked: Alice feeney is a great thriller author and writes twisty thrillers. This one delivered because you have 2 povs that can be conflicting. There is a lot of history and it does get darker than her other books. The mystery was very good and her twists were perfect.

I’m sorry, I really like rock paper scissors so I really thought I would like this one and I like 95% of this until the chapter before the “6 months later”—which is why I gave it 3 stars. I loved it up until then but the ending was terrible! It felt like a cop out because she didn’t want to use any of the obvious characters.
For the record, I thought it Priya….i feel like that could’ve been twisted in a good way but oh well
