Wow! I really loved this audiobook and I was amazed and surprised at the ending as I thought I had everything worked out, but obviously not. The ending was not what I was expecting at all!
The book is about a policeman called Jack Harper and his ex wife Anna Andrews, who is a news presenter for the BBC. They both get involved in solving a thrilling story from their past which has been bringing about the murders of people they know. The story is told from both of their points of view (his and hers), as well as additional writing from the murderer.
The characters of the book and the story are very interesting and just when you think you understand something, the story shoots off in a different direction. It is like being on a fast train but never knowing where you are going next. I didn't want to get off the train and I wanted it to keep going. The book was very fast paced and exciting and I kept wanting to read on to find out who the murderer was.
The audiobook narrator was fantastic and they really made the story come alive.
I highly recommend this book. It is so good and I will read more of this author's work in the future.

Yep, this one was good. Just when you think you figured it out you might me mistaken...
Woah. I was definitely surprised by this twisty story!!! At first it was a little slow with the flashbacks but once it all came together and I thought I had it all figured out, it twisted again. Definitely excited to read more of her books!
I love Alice Feeney’s style. All of her books have such a great twist at the end. 4.5 stars

The book was fast and easy to read. Like most crime stories, it keeps you wanting to know how it ends, and I gave it a go because everyone was talking about all the 'twists.' I was, quite frankly, disappointed with the so-called twist; it felt so far-fetched that it didn’t make any sense.
