Best friends brother
Harlow and Derek have known each other most of their lives. Harlow was in love with him for a long time, she tried to give him her v-card when she was18. He completely blew her off and hurt her feelings. Fast forward six years and they're always fighting, she calls him Satan and then she needs a favor from him to be her fake boyfriend so her grams would be happy.
I loved how they both really had buried feelings for each other and they come out even more while at the resort. Grams was so very astute and much more fun than you would expect. The family was a hoot and they really had strange traditions too. But Harlow and Derek are a trip together and they tend to over think thing's too.

I liked Harlow and Derrick. I was a bit annoyed about the third act breakup but then the Lauren/chuck locked door thing happened and I was so flabbergasted my daughter asked me what in the world was wrong. That scene was hilarious and saved the ending. Excited to read seduced!

Ahhh I loved this book! Harlow and Derrick were SO much fun. I love the best friend’s sibling trope and this was so well done. There was the perfect amount of comedy and angst. I can’t wait for the rest of the series.

Harlow and Derek's story is a classic Lili Valente lighthearted FUN rom-com with a scorching hot twist. This author never fails to deliver a tale that is as funny as it is romantic (and as it is hot in equal measure!). I don't know if its more best friend's older brother or enemies to lovers, or maybe its more fake fiance / virgin romance, however you want to classify it, it's a very taboo pairing and this author EXCELS as she consistently manages to make it all work seamlessly.
Harlow always harbored a crush on Evie's brother. They remained a very taboo pairing, until circumstances require Harlow to have a fake boyfriend. Derek decides he's so good he can bump that up to fake fiance. As they explore and fully realize their feelings for one another there are some bumps along the way but you really believe these two are in it for the long haul! Its definitely a heart warming journey with laughs throughout!
