Once again I found this book to be much more enjoyable than the first book in the first Wraith Squadron novel. Again it does have the same issues as I stated in the Wraith Squadron review. This book, Solo Command just happened to be much more enjoyable. As the end of a trilogy it wraps things up as nicely as possible considering that the author had limitations because of the next Star Wars novel in chronological order. It is a bit hard to explain further without giving spoilers away about the conclusion of the novel. I do recommend this book to fans of the Star Wars Saga.

[reread] Great conclusion to the Wraith Squadron books; Allston's great at carrying both the story for each book on its own and the overarching narrative, and as ever gets many points for the way he managed to sandwich a sensible and exciting story in between the previously written hash that other SW:EU books had made of things. Solving the two Iron Fists issue is pretty much up there with AC Crispin solving the "less than 12 parsecs" thing satisfyingly.
