When trying to write the review for Snow on the Bayou (Tante Lulu Adventure #1) by Sandra Hill, I truly don’t know where to start. Ok, you know how some people talk about a book hangover……well, I guess you can say that I know have a ragin, cajun, bayou hangover, because this book is still on my mind. YES it is that good!

I have been a fan of Sandra Hill's since her first book - I think it was "Sweeter Savage Love" - but it's been a while. One thing I can always count on with Sandra is a good story, a few laughs, and romance, and she delivers all of the above with this story.

Tante Lulu is up to her old tricks again as she manipulates two people who knew each other as teens back together as lovers. Tante Lulu is outrageously funny, but she does get the job done (along with a little help from St. Jude - the patron saint of hopeless causes).

Justin, aka Cage, returns to the one place he vowed never to return to - his bayou roots - to take care of his dying grandmother. He does count on this time being difficult. What he doesn't count on is the meddlesome Tante Lulu, the heat he still feels for his ex, Emelie, the past he has to face and come to grips with, as well as revelations he isn't ready to hear. Oh, and there's a terrorist threat too! All in the midst of Mardi Gras.

Emelie has issues of her own as she must face her own feelings for Justin, and what her father did in the past to both of them.

This is a rollicking, hot, story that will leave you laughing and crying and definitely satisfied at the end. If you're a fan of Sandra Hill's, this is a definite must. If you haven't yet read one, what are you waiting for? Pick up any of her books and sit back and enjoy the ride.
