This book has all types of mind games and I freaking love it and honestly Grayson is something else he kind of reminds me of John Kramer from saw when he makes people make their choice to their own demise but Grayson doesn’t really give them a choice and his intelligence is wickedly insane. London I love that Grayson is trying to peel back the layers of her memories and unleash what’s been hiding he whole time and I can’t wait to read the second part of the duet to see them really together.

Wtf did I just read?! This book was recommended to me as a romance but it’s definitely more of a psychological thriller with romance in it. The ending was loads better than the rest of the book. For most of the book I was bored but then the last 3/4 really picked up and had my heart racing!!

D-N-F I-T

I was invested, for the most part I was UNTIL everything started to fall off base and I just couldn't anymore. I've to say the idea and the plot was brilliant, I could agree how this story would make for an amazing dark romance tragic story but no it didn't go so smoothly. I lost my interest alright. It could be that I didn't agree much with the author's view of killing the bad guys for the sake of pleasure even though they most likely are better off dead than anything but killing people is KILLING. And it's sick and twisted to derive pleasure from that. It's SUCH SADIST BEHAVIOR. And it doesn't make you the next dark Robin Hood or a vigilante. I just couldn't give this book anymore focus. This book is fucked up in every senses but in a bad kinda way. This could have gone better but no it didn't. This felt something like The Joker and Harley Quinn persona but this book probably just wasn't for me. I've to say that. It's super cringe and some scenes are way beyond dark than I could mind. So I'm putting it back. I just couldn't go in further.

If anyone finished it, hope it was worth it.

This wasn't what I expected. It's insane, vile and twisted. Brilliant. The in-depth analysis of psychological terms and concepts made it better. It's all mind games and I was constantly questioning who's deceiving who. The writing was better than I expected. I liked it.
