I have been loving Veronica Roth’s newer adult novels. This is my third novel by Roth outside the Divergent series and each of them have been giving exactly what I need from them. Poster Girl looks at a dystopian world after the revolution. This is a trope I love, getting to look at the systems that replace the oppressive regimes after the rebellion that most books show is very intriguing to me. Poster Girl is a great character study on a woman who had been conditioned to blindly follow the old regime and how hard it is to break from that. It does not shy away from the horrors that people inflict when following orders while humanizing imprisoned participants of the old regime ten years after the revolution.

I loved both this book and The Chosen Ones and don't understand why people seem to dislike them so much.

I can’t wait to read more from Roth.
