I respect Drucker but while it might have been relevant at the time published when our society shifted to what he calls a "knowledge society."

While most of the book is solid advice, every time he talks about values, the purpose of your life, and where you belong, they all seem too simple and lacking to be business advice, and too bland and soulless to be philosophy.

One of those little books that can teach a lot about yourself. This book made me face several questions about myself, how I was working, thinking, learning, ... and enlightened me on several things I didn't understand in my life (like why meetings have always been a torment, or why I don't get the podcast thingy, ...). Packed with a lot of wisdom and teachings, it's a great read.

A handy little book, full of useful generalizations. Short enough to be read in a single commute.

Drucker is the man known as the father of the business consulting profession. This very-short volume is an adaptation of an article published in the Harvard Business Review. Drucker goes through his views on managing your own performance at work and in your personal life. I find his style to be very engaging, and this book is a quick read. Well worthwhile, and it might encourage you to read more of his work.
