The book started off strong, however, about half way through it started to feel repetitive. The plot hasn’t changed much throughout the three books - the main characters are still working towards the same goals / on the same journey that was outlined in the first book. There are trials and tribulations along the way but it has started to feel a bit boring and predictable for me. 

I really loved the slow burn between the two main characters but it has started to feel too dragged out. There seems to be constant heartache for the FMC which felt a bit depressing.

Overall, a nice read but a bit boring and repetitive after binge reading the series.
