So.... I hated this. Not that it was written badly, because it wasn't, but because it was gross, and gory, and there is no way for the author to save Havok for us. I don't care. He's just done too much. There is no coming back, Havok. I don't care how much hate kissing you guys do, I don't believe it. Also, like zero sexy stuff actually happened in this book. I assume there is future sexy stuff coming but, again, there is no coming back from what you've done and hate isn't that sexy and ugh just no.

Gosh. Where do I start. I could not put this book down once I started it. It had everything, and really hit all the right notes for me.
It had action, drama, suspsense, angst, romance and all in just the right measure to keep me turning those pages as I had to know how it was all going to come together. I have a real thing for broken people, and both Dante and Havok are broken in their own way. They both deserve the happy ending they better both be getting

idk idk

Ariana Nash gets a lot of hype, even I've read silk and steel and that dark prince one or whatever it's called

But here's the thing I can't remember anythinf significant from those books, although I think the dark prince one was pretty ok?

Her writing is just so forgettable for me,,

This book tho was just so boring lmfao and the whole stitching people thing just kind of made me laugh it was just weird and felt cartoonish to me. Also her characters don't really have depth and I know people think edgy characters are woah!!! actually nice = depth but it's not sorry

Like I get the whole captive/captor thing but Nash just ... Can't do it right like CS Pacat can. This book just falls flat.

I think my biggest gripe was just the writing man it was so boring I couldn't finish and I did not give a fuck abt these characters, it really felt like Dante wasn't as desperate to escape as a normal person would be in reality. Also

Havok sewing a coat for Dante and him being upset dante was like ?? wtf was so funny like girl what is going on

So I think this'll be my last Nash story

Dante’s end starts by ripping your heart out and handing it back to you. What was once a cute little story turns quickly and in turn creates the “monster” known as the jailor.

Havok trusted Dante. The butterflies trusted him. There was nothing to fear. All would be well.’

Havok. My misunderstood monster. He could do absolutely no wrong in my eyes throughout this book. At the start he was this sweet shy boy who stayed by a pond to play with his new friend Dante. But one night it all changed when Dante took Calen to the pond to show him ‘his secret’. He lost his eye that day and had his heartbroken.

his butterfly boy’

Dante. Dante. Dante. There were times in this book I wanted to backhand him. But he also is hiding a lot of hurt. The fact he spent years in a relationship with someone out of hate. Tells you a lot about him as a person.

Their passion for each other was hot as hell. And the anger between them made it even better. This was a fantastic story that I couldn’t put down.

The overall story is very interesting, the monsters are unique and I really enjoyed watching these two navigate through the world. Watching Havok fighting two sides of himself along the way.
