It’s an experience I highly recommend you be emotionally prepared for before reading. It will make you feel things so strongly you will almost feel like your were personally hurt.

Some parts of this were reallly strong, and if you're looking for something gross that's also well-written, this'll do it for you. I think some of the more experimental parts went over my head tbh, but I still somehow couldn't put this one down.

really really good..when the reviews say alison rumfitt is a master of disgust they are so right bc her books affect me more viscerally than any other horror books i’ve read but in such a way that you can’t tear yourself away from them

Alison Rumfitt once again crafted a brilliant critique of fascism through the lens of body horror
