Alice of Spades is a great follow up to Jack of Spades!
Alice of Spades could easily work as a stand alone, but also continues to build on the foundations set in Jack of Spades. This story really fleshes out the world and defines the characters and factions well. Alice is full of fire and gumption, and she’s easy to root for. Her story is not one of joy but she has a nice character arc contained within this quick read. She is well supported by a host of great side characters.
A fantastic second outing by this team! The art and colouring really pop. This a team, and series, to follow!
