Man, that really was an abrupt ending... We couldn't get an Epilogue? I hope we can have a short novella or something...

Oh, wow, this book was just incredible! I loved reading it, and it was just so freaking fantastic! I wish we'd gotten more of a ending, though!

"you still have free will. whatever you do now, it will be your choice, so don't blame anyone but yourself if you don't like the consequences."

"i'd been on that particular ride, and it was like being on a roller coaster set to the speed of 'please, someone kill me now'."

The last installement of Ivy and Adrian. So much drama in this book it got boring. This was a MF paranaormal series and I listened to the audiobook.

The Brightest Embers was a pulse-pounding, insanely epic ending to the Broken Destiny trilogy and I hated to put it down for even a second. The emotions were more intense and the stakes higher than ever for our hero and heroine but they faced everything head on with courage–and with the knowledge that their love could conquer just about anything.

“I told you once before, my every action is driven by my undying love for you, and that, Ivy, is the real truth.”

Talk about a book hangover! Jeaniene Frost saved the best for last with this final book about Ivy and Adrian’s fight to save humanity. And what a fight it was. Now, I will say it’s not necessarily for the faint of heart, especially for those readers who avoid gory fight scenes. Frost didn’t pull any punches, detailing those passages in a very, ahem, realistic manner. Read More

And there she be! Finished! It took me two days to read the entire trilogy. I definitely enjoyed the second and third book more than book one.

I loved Ivy’s character throughout the entire trilogy! Adrian also grew on me, especially near the end. I don’t want to give any spoilers, so I’ll leave it there. But the ending was so sweet!

I was nervous going into this book. I really did not like the last book and I am always nervous when I start the last book in a series.. actually I usually put off reading the last book in a series but I.. I hate that I am about to say this but I wanted to get this series over with. I love Jeaniene Frost. I re-read the Night Huntress series and the Night prince series multiple times a year. I am obsessed with them but this one just kind of fell flat for me. So as soon as this one became available I started it. I just wanted it over. But I was actually surprised with this one. It was so much better than the last book. Ivy was still annoying but she was better this book. Adrian was still kind of an ass but he makes up for it in the end.

I loved the ending of this series. I won't lie, it still is no where near my favorite but I still did enjoy this book and I am glad I read it.. it won't be one I re-read though.
