Fantasy usually isn’t my jam. I think a lot of my hesitation with fantasy is that all the books I’m told to read that are fantasy novels are actually series with 5+ books that get progressively longer with each new addition. I decided to give Fourth Wing a try since it’s only one book so far, and boy am I glad I did! I felt truly immersed in the world of Bagsiath College, and imagined how cool (terrifying!) it would be to be a part of the riders quadrant! I was a little worried at one point that there wasn’t much of a typical “plot” and that it was more (for lack of a better word) “coming of age” style. I didn’t think that would be able to keep my interest, but I jumped from the parapet to the gauntlet to threshing, and before I knew it, I was 80% done with the book. I’m excited to see where the next book goes after that ending, and to dive further into the continent.

Me habían puesto este libro tan mal que me esperaba algo horripilante, y al final para nada. Me he sentido como cuando tenía 15 años y estaba leyendo thg, no podía parar de leer. Hay que tener en cuenta que es una movida, pero sabiendo qué tipo de movida es, es muy disfrutable.
