I also found this while cleaning my room, and I can’t say I remember where it came from.
I can see why these became so popular. There were a few amusing cartoons throughout, although I must admit that I didn’t understand some of them since they were published almost 50 years ago now. The age of these cartoons also comes through very clearly in the humor that is reliant on racist and sexist stereotypes.

The first of the Far Side collections. I like this one more than some of the others because the humor is quite a bit darker.

Some of these are really clever, most of them are just okay. Overall got better the further I read, but I think compiling the comics like this doesn’t do them any favors.

Him working for Hank selling dead animals is so random but so fitting for the author of these cartoons
I think my mom had all of these when I was little, and they were all really funny. Gary Larson only needs one panel to make me exhale forcefully.
