I wish we would find out why the hell Bodie is so focused on her teacher. She’s addressing him the entire book and it feels like he has offended her personally. She suspects him for the murders, but her vendetta against him makes it seem like something went down between them. It was kind of a let down. Also, just not a fan of Bodie’s character in general. Luckily the intrigue of finding out who did it kept me reading.

I wanted to like this as much as her last book, but found it a little to navel gaze-y. The story itself is impactful in an interesting and true telling of the institutional flaws that still trip us up in a post me to world
