I'm really glad I won this as part of a first read giveaway, as soon as I started, I was enticed into a storyline that made me heart skip and jump, fracture and heal. I loved the way how quite a few things are unexpected and the detailed language which makes for picturesque imagery. I overall have no complaints, however I have to say the ending for me didn't work as well, I felt the main character had almost given in some of her personality and despite the warning from the book creates a fairytale which is slightly unrealistic (but not too fussed about that) and I feel sends out a message of almost female submission to the male role. I am hoping the next book won't skip too far ahead as one of the big issues that Chloe felt there was would I feel have to somehow be addressed. I am hoping any loose ends are tied up, but ultimately I love the way the media is portrayed as what they really are and the story was generally goods. I debated giving four or five stars, but for pure enjoyment I though four would not be just enough!
Brilliant and enjoyable!

Normally I don't do reviews because I don't have the patience or time, or really just don't care enough, but I need to make an exception for this book.
SpoilerWhile the love that Chloe and Jason may not be the most passionate I have read about in romance books, I still loved them so much, and saw the dedication they later had to each other.
I found the celebrity thing obviously a bit unreal, but at least Chloe also realized it and she was not that naive as to think it is normal, I liked that she stayed grounded throughout all their encounters and I like that she also found a lot of the things that he did, being a celebrity, a bit strange. It made her a great character and also a great and easy person for Jason to love
Spoiler as he also, I think, stated somewhere in this book or the next.
I also really loved how they did a lot of talking to each other when they had problems, or at least made an effort to, unlike in other romance books where one, or both, people in the relationship immediately jump to conclusions and never even get the other persons' thoughts or answers and then just break it off, or do something drastic. They really made an effort to solve their problems, even if they both didn't know how they quite felt about things.

I really just loved the simplicity of their love once it was discovered.

Sorry for the confusing review, now you may know why I really don't write reviews, I can't formulate anything.

I give this book 3.5 stars. The level of stars went down the more I read. It started off well, an interesting story line but if I'm honest in the end it just felt rushed and unrealistic. The way Chloe changed her mind about her feelings just like that was somewhat silly and then all the arguments between kyra and Jason seem an unnecessary part of book. Overall an ok, easy read.

Nothing amazing. Characters are eh and the writing was pretty average too. A lot of random events happened but then weren't even relevant to the story. I wouldn't bother paying for it (I got it free off kindle) as it could have been way better if a lot of the minor events were taken out.

This was such a fun book! College student Chloe appears as an extra on a film being shot in her town and movie star Jason takes an interest in her. She's had a rough life, and is sarcastic/cynical, but Jason and Chloe develop a friendship that's quite the page-turner. I truly admire Chloe's views on relationships-I found it refreshing for a character to be old-fashioned, and for Jason to be understanding and accepting was the icing on the cake. I wish this could be my fairy tale!

At first I thought that it was going to be cliché in all forms. But besides that, it was a really good story with some characters that I can say that I liked.

First of all, Chloe was something different to read. At the beginning of the story I almost killed her, but then I knew why she was like that. Anyways, she was one good character.

Jason, oh Jas what can I say about you? I totally fell in love with him at the end. He was just the most cutest thing. Always there for her and willing to do everything.

But the thing that I liked more about this story was the family relationships. From the different personalities that have the family, to problems that have people nowadays.

It had its bad things like everything but, It was a light reading and I really enjoyed it...

Not gonna lie, I don’t know if I want to read the following books. But if I do I will post a review.

Wow. This book totally caught me off guard.

I read some of the reviews and was like 'yeah, great, sounds nice, let's read it' and then... there came this intriguing book.

I really, really loved it! Five stars, no questions asked :D

Honestly, in the beginning I was not sure about Chloe. Sure, I loved Jason, I mean, gosh, who wouldn't? He was charming and a bit arrogant but hey, he's a film star. What were you expecting?
I fell in love with Lori, too and Matthew obviously.

Seriously, I would have never thought about some of the entanglements and the "secrets" if you wanna call them that.

All in all, this book doesn't leave a lot to be desired for and I'm really looking forward to Nobody's Damsel, part two of this series.

Yeah, I guess I love series :D

So, read the book if you haven't ! It's definitely worth it!!

Love,

Chriss

I was going into this expecting a light, flufffy summer read. Boy, was I wrong..
This has so much more depth to it, than I expected. On the surface is it a story about a famous guy, and I almost nerdy girl, who meet and fall in love. But there is just so much more to it than that. Both of them have a past, which still haunts them. I was quite surprised by how much I enjoyed this book- Although I found the ending abit unbelievable, I still really enjoyed this book. I am contemplting to get the second one, which is aparently a suspence kind of thing, just because I really liked the characters so much.

I read this book because I wanted something pretty light-hearted and fun. I got exactly what I was looking for. Seeing everything from the point of view of a woman who has been through hell and back and has been trying to move on from it is great - I love strong women as main characters. The characters felt pretty believable and I enjoyed this one.
