Words of Radiance builds upon what The Way of Kings set up beautifully. I was hooked immediately, and the pacing did not let up. Words of Radiance features some of my favorite scenes in all of The Stormlight Archives. It's probably my favorite book out of the four that are currently released actually.

I think one of my favorite things about Sanderson's writing is his ability to make every person in the story right in their view of the world, and it makes sense.
This book is huge, but it didn't feel like it. It was constantly moving and I loved every second of it, but I will say I think the first 75% of it was probably my favorite. All of this is just my bread and butter. I loved it. My absolute favorite part was the arena scene in the middle. The banter between Kaladin and Shallon, and then the dialogue with Wit, had me rolling. I'm excited to see where books 3 and 4 go. This series is so worth the read.

Up until the Sanderlanche this was a four star book for me but the reveals, twists, and surprises made it a 5 star.
There were parts of the book that literally made me gasp, jerk my head up in surprise, and even do some little dances of celebration. That's a feat for an author to make me care about the characters and their choices so much.

And I did it. The longest book I've ever read. Dang "Book Of Endless Pages" indeed.
