Cataclysm is the last book in the Four Horseman series, and it perfectly wraps up the series and gives us everything that we need. I received this an an ARC from the author in exchange for my honest review.

"I want to burn this empire down and dance among the ashes."

This book was a whirlwind. There were group scenes, murder, plotting, kidnapping, and a sex club. Cataclysm was exactly what I have come to expect from Sarah Bailey and I highly enjoyed it.

Scarlett starts off the book having been kidnapped by Mason, a man who worked for her "father" while she was in the 10 years after her accident. He brought her to a house that he bought years ago and decorated to her liking. This was so creepy to me but fit Mason's character perfectly!

Once the men find her the book just doesn't slow down. The author did such a great job with the wrapping up of how the men and Scarlett deal with the man that kidnapped her and kept her for 10 years. If you don't like blood or gore this part of the book might make you somewhat queasy since there is a ton of it, but I think it fit all the characters.

"I was me. Scarlett. A woman who had survived many ordeals. It made me strong, not weak. It made me powerful."

I think Sarah Bailey did such a fantastic job of creating a strong female character that doesn't need a man but just happens to have four.

This book has many kinks that are involved in the sex scenes. Please check the trigger warnings this is a dark reverse harem and it is very dark. This book especially, since it is wrapping up the series.

The ending is so sweet and romantic! I can't wait to read more by this author.
