I’ll always love a romance that finds a way to put a fresh spin on an overdone trope. Nora is relatable and real and is just trying to make it one day at a time while being a genuinely good parent, and I think her character works well as a self insert for a lot of people. Is this believable in the slightest? No not at all, but I think this is a fantasy that a lot of people have about falling in love with a celebrity and it works. I love the main character, I love the love interest, I love the kids, and the 3rd act fallout actually broke my heart and felt like a REAL thing that could actually happen (minus the involvement of a celebrity). I think fans of Emily Henry will really like this one.
