i would have given it a 4.5 (i felt like something was missing) anyways...slowly recovering from a reading slump this book definitely helped, the excitement and tension with each chapter made me want to continually read it in one sitting but i just refused as i wanted to extend the story aha. probably my fav fantasy book and i just love the characters especially jem <3 the twist near to the end was something i didn’t expect which made me scream lmao. the slow burn romance between tessa and will makes me question if they should be together or not but this book was just an incredible read and made me fall in love with the shadowhunter world all over again as i became distant from because of a book within the same world that i hated... i can’t wait to continue this series!

I just love the book/series so much. I love all of the characters especially Henry he just makes me laugh. I really love Tessa. I also just love the plot with the clockwork and all the twists. I also do love this love triangle like ugh it’s so good.

I absolutely loved this book! I loved all of the interactions between Will, Jem, and Tessa. They’re some of my favorite shadowhunter characters. I’ve only read two shadowhunter series so far but this one is my favorite. I’m planning to reread this soon so maybe I’ll write a proper review then. Just know that I love these books.
