Great illustrations depict increasingly colossal pumpkins. Back matter on geography. Great for early elementary.

I didn't really care for the story, much, but I really enjoyed the illustrations. Perhaps this would be better as a teachable tool versus a read aloud/Storytime contender.

An adorable way to get kids thinking about how big a pumpkin could be, new vocabulary, and scenes from all over the country.

Light fare. Story imagines amusing locations for super giant squash.

Perfect for young readers! First off the books great because is it’s cute. The reading is bouncey and fun. Second it’s educational! Any book that can combine a fun story with a couple facts for young readers is an A+ in my book.
