Again, Daniel gave me whiplash. Either he was burning hot or saying 'Fuck y'all, I'm done'. Also, his plan in the end to make sure Alyssa really wanted him was just bullshit. If I was her I would be the one shouting 'Fuck y'all, I'm done'. Lastly, I didn't like very much how Daniel's thoughts were a carbon copy of Alyssa's. I mean, that would make sense for the dialogue, but not the inner thoughts and feelings. I get this is essentially The Tie that Binds in his pov, but still, some originality is needed.

I WANTED TO LOVE THIS SO BAD IM SO SORRY CATHERINA MAURA 😭 i just get so mad when heroines don’t realise they’re worth so much more — i just still don’t understand why daniel broke her heart to let her be free only to not let her be free on the first date she had after him 😭😭😭

Hard to put down! Very good book, lots of emotional ups and downs.
Didn't know there was a book in Alyssa's POV, and read this first but I'll definitely be reading The Ties That Bind Us now to read her side.
Love the student POV stories!

Quirky follow up to the ties that bind, same script different POV. Also read in one sitting.
