It felt like it starts off pretty slow but later it'll get faster. Not something I'd recommend to read if you need a fun reading experience as it's dark, but if it's your cup of tea then go ahead.

God, f*ck yes!

As someone who finds literature hard to read and wouldn't quickly label it as their favorite genre, this is a great book to read if you really have to do it!

1984 is a tense, mysterious, dystopian book with exceptional writing, a very unexpected plot twist and a not too stereotypical romance. This book is commonly read by teenagers and in schools for a reason! A big big recommendation!!

It was 12 years ago, the last time I read this book. I remember feeling empty and hopeless after finishing it. Now, the second time, was a little different. I was able to appreciate the quality and precision of the writing. Dark, brutal, relentless.
