A fun mystery that I can honestly say I didn't ID the killer until the third act. That is longer than my usual and it didn't feel like anyone jumped the shark or it got pulled out of thin air. Hope to get more of the side characters in the next book, but getting the duo dynamic done first is more important for a first book.

Super fun and entertaining YA mystery. This book is set in high school and because of that has some immature characters. But that didn’t take away from the story, it actually made it more entertaining. I loved the two main characters Alice and Iris, they were both dealing with other issues and very smart and likable. Great book!

Such a fun murder mystery with a female friendship at the center. The characters are complicated and genuine. Can’t wait to read the next book! Also, this one inspired me to read some Agatha Christie.
Two girls who come from different walks of life team up to solve the murder of a fellow students. The Agathas was a great read. Alice's obbession with Agatha Christie was a great story line to help drive the plot. The friendship between Alice and Iris was also a great storyline alongside the the murder mystery. Definately recommended.
