Kicking off spooky season with this one! Although I did see the ending coming, I absolutely loved this book!

After giving it some more thought, I decided to change my rating from 4 stars down to 3.5 stars, and here's why:
While I enjoyed reading this book with another El ( @el_thereader), I found it a bit lacking. I really liked the first few chapters; they were funny, unexpected, and just unique all over with all that ghost stuff, but then it was just... that. Nothing much happened. I understand that it might be because it was only a matter of a week or two (I don't remember now), but it felt exactly that for me, just... okay?
It's not a bad book per se, not at all; it just felt lacking for me.
Okay, now that I've said that, I feel better. I no longer feel like lying lol.

Solid 4. I enjoyed the premise although nothing shocked or amazed me. I got the butterflies and lots of giggles. It was a little slow for a while but I didn't mind. Fast and sweet read!
bored 1/3 of the way through. nothing exciting has happened. author is clinging onto the two major events that have happened in the first 100 and milking them without giving any other plot. repetitive and also poor writing/editing at some points—two different characters are shown each wearing different outfits/accessories from paragraph to paragraph. not worth my time.
