Uggh! Not even a full hour into the story and I had to stop reading. Couldn't keep reading. It was too much rambling about climbing the corporate ladder, the office politics and games that go along with it. I couldn't get past the alarmingly heavy hustle culture and working yourself to death for a title and validation. Also desperately looking for a husbands and to be someone's somebody. Ickk! Not my type of storyline.

Also I listened to this as an audiobook and found the narrator's performance to be kind of flat. The inflection in their tone didn't different much from character to character so it was hard to tell which character was which.
