Super quick and inspirational read, even being fiction! Loved the way that Dara, Amaka, and Lillian navigated their own challenges and interpersonal challenges even in a work environment constructed to work against them. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the free advance copy.

Drama-filled, unexpected, page-turner. None of the women are reliable judges of others, and each of them show that a different way. Their stories are intertwined and also fully separate, and their voices are distinct. I loved the look into expat life and slowly seeing the cracks in the rich stereotypes of Singapore.

Each of the POV endings/closures were a little bit rushed and overly explanatory for me, but overall everything wrapped up nicely and that each character had an ending that was fitting for their arc.
