I really liked this installment in the series. Things are certainly coming to head, and I have to be honest when a certain someone showed up with a certain something at the end I couldn't help but cringe. It wasn't creepy at first but now, after the cave and the Gangrels, it's gotten really weird. Not to mention the Malk scrawl. I love it.

Clan Novel: Brujah is written with all the dedication and quality control of a semi canon tie in novel to a ttrp franchise, which is to say, it’s a very light read loosely based on characters and events clearly meant to be played out among friends. I’d recommend the book to only those who really care about Vampire: The Masquerade’s old lore and worldbuilding, given that the majority of these events aren’t even considered canon in the newest timeline. Small and fast paced, a decent read, except for (small spoiler, but i feel the need to bring it up for possible future readers) that frankly useless chapter where the main character abuses a sex worker and justifies it as “She had asked him to make her a victim” (I give a lot of leeway to these books because they’re dripping with early 2000s edginess but I feel that, even 20 years ago, this sentiment was out of line).
