It's well written and witty, but very dated in its humor. There were parts I could tell were supposed to be humorous, but seen thought the eyes of 40 years in the future from when it was written just aren't hitting as jokes. The plot is quite good for the first half of the book and then starts to fade away into less intriguing as time goes on. It very much fits into the average category. I like it a lot and I enjoy reading "dated" books. Definitely not for everyone.
