a biker and a stalker? who bends the morals of hacking both to watch her and protect her from the corrupt cop who wants to silence her? as much as i love these quick light reads, i do wish the books were longer to explore the plots the author comes up with, some of them are a breath of fresh air contrary to common mafia twists.

4.75 stars. Insta-love isn't for everyone ... but I have come to love it. And few do it better than Fiona Davenport does. Hack is no exception to that rule.

Hack is a computer genius bad*ss biker (hence the name). Paisley is a recent college graduate and witness to a crime. John is a cop as dirty as they get.

We met these three in the previous book in the series, but only got a glimpse of them. When said dirty cop doesn't live up to his end of a bargain made ... well all bets are off.

Hack protects his woman using his incomparable skills with a computer and ends the career of the dirty cop. He also claims the woman he's been secretly sorta stalking (yeah, yeah in real life it wouldn't be cool at all ... but this is fiction ... the rules can be bent) and proclaims his love. It's all wonderfully amazing and awesome.

My only complaint ... and it's not really a complaint ... I would have loved to see MORE. More interaction between the old ladies, more interaction between Hack and Paisley, more interaction between Paisley and the rest of the guys. Basically just MORE of the story. I'm sure we'll see more of these two with future books tho.

This is a super quick read and was easily finished in a couple of hours. If insta-love, bad*ss biker, stalkerish isn't your thing ... that's cool ... move along this isn't the book for you.

Just like with the rest of the series so far, This is a quick instalove, OTT possessive hero, with virgin heroine.

Stars: 5 ⭐️
POV: dual
HEA?: yes
OW/OM Drama: no
Cheating: no
Cliffhanger?: no
Trope: motorcycle club, OTT alpha, virgin, breeding, stalking.

Barrett "Hack" Moore has met the girl of his dreams, well online only but he knows she is the one for him. He has waited and kept an eye on her from afar but now he is ready to claim Paisley Wessex as his own. With a man intent on harming Paisley, Hack makes himself known and claimed.

This was a fun quickie. I wish it had been a bit longer because it was a bit rushed in parts. I liked Hack, he was pure alpha male where Paisley was concerned. Entertaining biker short story.
