i have heard of some of these serial killers before but it honestly felt like a majority of these were arsenic kills and i wish this book highlighted other types of killers bc i'm sure they exist.

The tone of this book reads as though Telfer wanted to, and initially did, write a very serious look at women who murder and the societal reactions to these women throughout history, and then an editor said, "We want this to appeal to listeners of My Favorite Murder and Wine & Crime. Change the tone to be almost obsequiously casual and reader-friendly, okay?"
