A book about female serial killers (points for the chapter on Raya and Sakina) was apparently what I was in the mood for during the middle of Ramadan? Huh.

I was unable to finish this book. It was interesting and engaging and I enjoyed the author's approach to discussing these murderous women throughout history. Sometimes I just don't jive with a book because of other circumstances not related to the book.
I hope in the future to give this one another try but I don't think I was ready to read chapter after chapter of hideous murder and torture.

A quick, engaging, and wide ranging account of some lesser known female serial killers. Chapters don't seem to be organized chronologically or geographically but this only seems to add to the conversational, intimately readable account from an author who clearly has a mastery of her material.

DNF...tired of reading about killers from 1000 years ago. Boring!
