I did not finish this one. The tips I got through made sense but I didn't care for the stories or the humor. It seemed like he wanted to write a memoir then noticed this low stress, self-help angle and ran with it. I wanted to give up once he said how resilient and great LEOs are at handling stress. I pushed for a bit after that but the interview with the paratrooper just... It was enough. I stopped caring. At the end of each section he writes a little summary for skimmers. I searched for the word skimmer in the book and read the last tips. Left a bit to be desired. Stressed about money? He says you should save. Thanks.

I have a hard time giving these sort of books ratings. It was entertaining and comedic, but the lessons and advice seemed pretty generic. That being said, I feel like some things you just need to hear a certain way to get it to resonate and I think I was able to get that for some pieces.

This was a fun book, but I wish there was a bit more about the science of stress/coping mechanisms in the writing. The author is pretty funny, though, and I thought a lot of his family stories were cute.

Started strong but then it lost me. Most of the book was personal anecdotes completely unrelated to managing stress.

Great read! I have PTSD and lots of anxiety and this book really helped me out. I think the author really tries to keep everything realistic and I feel like he' not trying to talk at me or say "if you'd just do this you'll be fine" he knows there's stress -everywhere- but he's helping us cope with it.

It was ok, quite a lot of personal stories and a repeat of why the author never gets stressed which wasn't particularly helpful. There were some helpful bits in there but if you want a book on stress management I think there are better books out there!
