This book was a very cute sapphic woman e with a nice feminist story and message. The rpose is a little immature, sometimes too tongue and cheek for it's own good, but it is a YA book, so maybe that's to be expected! Overall, I did enjoy it and would read other stories in this universe.

a very sweet story—i enjoyed gwen and isobelle’s characters separately and their romance was well-paced, and all the female characters were badass without having their femininity stripped away. the interstitials were a fun element as well.
i just wish the plot wasn’t so predictable from a fourth of the way into the story 😭 it also lacked a compelling aspect that makes you want to know what happens next. it seems the authors plan to write a sequel, and i’d def pick that up as i think the story has potential to be better from here.
