A sweet cute heartwarming small town romance.

Charlie and Ruby were adorable and I was rooting for them from the start.

The Montgomery’s, were everything.

I was a little annoyed at a few parts and some of the story was drug out.

I can’t wait for more stories.

Actually fucking amazing. So freaking good. I was probably bawling for at least half of the book. That’s how you know it’s good.

Back into my cowboy romance era, I mean isn't Charlie just the ideal green flag loving cowboy that you need in your life. The grumpy MC who falls in love with little miss Sunshine.
This was a good read, as well as the additional Montgomery brothers. You can definitely tell they are going to branch off into more books down the line.
For a cowboy romance this had me swooning.

Ruby embarks on her bucket list adventure and chances upon a struggling ranch and the grumpy cowboy who owns it. Ruby is sweetness, sunshine and optimism despite her heart condition. Charlie is closed off, but his emerging feelings for Ruby opens up his heart. Their romance starts off as a physical fling, but how their feelings develop and take root is a good journey in itself.

Ruby throws herself into helping Charlie save the ranch, and Charlie's sweetness beneath his grumps and the way he cares for Ruby is wonderful. The quiet, emotional moments are lovely and steamy times are hot. But secrets dragged on for a little too long. Though
Charlie didn't have an idiot reaction when he found out - he instead tells her that he's there for keeps
. Very angsty in the last 20% but it all worked out well, loved how Ruby's living her best life. The suspense provides action and some drama.

The California hate is SO republican and I am not about it. In my fictional world, all cowboys are democrats, thank you.

This girl has heart complications and has made a bucket list. On that bucket list is to watch a California sunset. The Hero is like 'I'll help you complete everything on your list BUT going to California.' Actually go kicks rocks.

This is the third book by this author that I have read and it is the second book to be weird about California. The first book I read was Babymoon or Bust and the heroine is from CA but she was nervous to meet his family who is from Alaska because of it. Like girl, no..
