Oh my word!! Loved this book! This book had me giggling, crying, and blushing. I’m a sucker for a cowboy romance and this definitely hit the nail on the head. Loved getting to know the Montgomery brothers and Runaway Ranch! But of course our cowboy and sunflower have stollen my heart! Can’t wait for the next book in the series!
This was was not it. Where some say sunny, I say cringey. Lines like: “they’re not just flowers Max, they are bright sides” and: “I know it’s trash, but it’s my trash”. Actually, it was some random cowboy’s (she approached on the side of the road) old Coca Cola bottle, not yours, but that’s beside the point.
When she’s talking about her mother: “ the doctors said her heart just gave out. I refuse to understand that. How do you stop something beautiful from beating?”

Review of Tame the heart ♥️
Ava Hunter has done it again. Her writing just pulls me right in from the very beginning and begs to keep reading.
~Wild Hearts can’t be tamed~
Every time she smiles at me, I have to glance around to make sure I’m the lucky son of a bitch who deserves it. And when she wears those sundresses . . . It’s all I can do not to haul her against me and kiss her senseless.
Bad idea.
Distractions can’t happen.
Especially beautiful ones.
This book was so good and was definitely binge worthy. I absolutely adored the connection between Ruby and Charlie.
My favorite tropes are -
♥️Grumpy X Sunshine
♥️Small town romance
♥️Touch her and you ☠️
♥️Ruin her for anyone else
♥️Dirty Talk
♥️The Spicier the better
And this book had all of them plus a couple more to add to my list of tropes.

This was gearing up to be a 3, and I was going to finish it, but then I had to many other things I needed to read for various reasons, and now just the thought of going back to it physically pains me, so I’m going to call it a day. I do like the writing, so I’ll continue with the series, but these two characters, and the plot are just not for me

My first 5 star read in a while. I absolutely loved this book. It had everything from romance to suspense to emotion. Ruby has a heart condition but doesn’t stop it from living. Charlie owns a ranch and after losing his wife has been nothing but a grumpy cowboy. When ruby works for him to run their social media account, they of course fall in love. Resurrection ranch is a perfect name for the ranch considering they were all “reborn” in a way. Ruby literally died and came back. Charlie is one of my fav book boyfriends. He is sweet, caring, protective, but not too cheesy or unrealistic. The suspense was also another element that kept it interesting. Developers want to buy the ranch and try to sabotage by scaring them and then burning the barn down. Ruby’s heart condition played a large role in the book. It did irritate me that she waited so long to tell Charlie but other than that this book was 😘. Will definitely read others in this series!
