Wow, I think this book broke me. It was such a sweet cowboy story that had me crying; the parts were so wholesome! I can’t wait to start the next one.

Reading is subjective and all, but I’m still amazed how this book is rated so high. Hooooooowwwwww?
I only got to about 30% and I was already tired of hearing about the FMC being petite/small and her tiny waist, slender legs, shiny hair, her long rose gold hair, her strawberry blonde hair, her blue eyes, her pretty sundresses, she’s golden and sunshine etc. The ENDLESS and repetitive descriptions of her appearance, ahhhhhhh it drove me crazy. I mean we got a pretty good description in the beginning, no need to constantly repeat it. It’s so tiresome and this author is far from alone in doing this.
Oh, and the first time they got together was not it. Not hot at all. I think it was the lack of yearning beforehand. And that it’s purely physical attraction (even though they tried to make it like more but no). The conversations they had were definitely not it, no banter, nothing deep. Boring.

Heartwarming, sweet, emotional and spicy! Loved the setting and the characters! My only complaint is how long it took Ruby to tell Charlie the truth but I loved how he handled it. The dramatics were plenty and some unnecessary but they didn’t take away from the story!
