Similar to the first book in this series, I enjoyed this read. It’s fairly lighthearted and perfect for a holiday read where you don’t need to pay too much attention to it.
Again I think Jennings is an extremely clever writer and I admire his creativity when writing about Villanelles assassinations.
Had to mark this down to 3.5 stars as I didn’t particularly like the ending and I don’t like the route that Jennings is taking with Eve. After reading the synopsis and reviews of the third book, I won’t be reading it. However I will watch the series in due course.
