It was good but at times very surreal in ways that seemed to slow the plot down. Still the characters, ideas, and overall story were great and intense. Some aspects don't really hold up to much scrutiny, such as aliens using earth measurements for speeds or things, but usually this only happened on minor details.

The third act was a little bit too much for me. Too much deus ex machina, too much cliché, too rushed.

Overall still good. Some really weird (in a good way) concepts here. Totally insane imagery. A fun read.
