I wanted to finish because I love Mariana Zapata, but this book was just lacking a little bit of everything. I couldn’t connect with the main character, her thoughts were so full and she kept repeating herself.

This is the sequel to The Wall of Winnipeg and Me which I also read as I am in love with Marian Zapata and her men. I do still really enjoy this book because it is in her writing that is a mix of comedy, romance, and life lessons. However, this is definitely my least favorite of hers. I do find Bianca to be a bit too oblivious for my liking sometimes and I feel like I could’ve gone without almost every fart joke in this book. Besides those two things, I enjoy it and will continue reading it yearly like I do with Mariana’s other books.

I’m absolutely obsessed and In love with Mariana Zapata books. She’s a blind buy for me. BUT sadly this book was even too slow for me. It was just too much of everything else but not enough of them. It just felt extremely slow and I don’t mean the classic slow burn of her. Still liked it enough to finish it tho because it was still good and solid.
