Vibe: I’m not a big fan of historical fiction but this one is good. It’s some hard topics but Martha is a character I won’t soon forget. I admired her strength, opinions and grit. This book has a mystery element but is also about being a woman - about menopause, motherhood, being a wife and a happy middle marriage love story. The cold and winter setting was perfect for this time of year.
Cons: the kindle version had a rough to read font for the journal entries
