This series is so good. I can't put it down! This volume leans really hard into rivalry as a motivator.

Read Tankubon 1-11 M&C
======================

pokoknya salute to all mangakas out there! ... and their editors... and their asistants... and their family too... #angkattopi #hormatgrak

lalu.... 12 manaaaaa 12??? ^^V

This series is so good, that when this one came out I requested all the other volumes of the series from my local library and re-read them all. It was quite satisfying to have the entire series on hand and be able to see how much the characters have changed and developed over the series. I was surprised just how much change there was as well. Just looking at Akira Hattori from his first appearance to this most recent volume was quite a change.

I continue to appreciate this series for it's unique concept as well as it's hold to the traditional tropes and themes of SJ. It's really very amusing.

Initially I disliked both Aoki and Iwase, but Aoki finally drew my respect in her devotion to Hideout Door's sucess and now I'm finally starting to appreciate Iwase, though her personality still rankles me. Can't wait for Vol. 12! I wish I had even a portion of the ambition and drive that Ashirogi have...but perhaps I just haven't found my Takagi yet.
